Collaborative Menu Creation:
From the start, crafting the menu with Yelenia felt like a genuine dialogue. She listened closely, offered thoughtful suggestions, and built a menu rooted in classic Sardinian cuisine while tailoring it to our tastes. Even before the first dish appeared, the aromas drifting from the kitchen in the first half hour told us we were in for something extraordinary.
A Beautiful, Understated Atmosphere:
Before serving a single bite, Yelenia set a table that felt celebratory without being showy — elegant, warm, and perfectly suited to the evening. It set the tone for a meal that was both elevated and deeply personal.
A Meal of Standout Dishes:
Octopus Salad — We had ordered octopus salad several times throughout Italy, but nothing came close to Yelenia's version. Bursting with bright, layered flavor and impossibly fresh seafood — no surprise after watching an entire fresh octopus simmering on the stove — it redefined the dish for all of us.
Suckling Pig — This was an out‑of‑body experience. The meat fell effortlessly from the bone, and the skin delivered deep flavor without ever feeling oily or heavy. It was Sardinia's iconic dish at its absolute best.
Culurgiones — Our first time trying this traditional pasta, and I'm grateful it was with Yelenia. Handmade, delicate, and filled with mint that blooms at the end of each bite, these set a standard that no other version on our trip could match.
Seadas — We had tasted these earlier in the trip, but Yelenia's were on another level entirely. She fried the dough right in front of us, and the final sweetness — warm, light, and fragrant — lifted us beautifully at the end of the meal.

We had the best two days with Chef Ylenia! The food was incredible. Her and her team were kind accommodating and fun. We even added a pizza making class for the little kids and that was a big hit. We will definitely request her services again! Delicious food, fair price and an awesome day!!

Ylenia is an absolute gem! She came to our home fully prepared and ran a seamless cooking class in our small kitchen like a true professional. She taught us how to make fresh pasta dough from scratch and guided us through multiple pasta shapes, which she then transformed into a beautiful, authentic 3-course Sardinian dinner.
We were a mixed-age group with three teenagers, and Ylenia kept everyone engaged and having a blast. The food was absolutely delicious and the whole experience felt magical. Highly, highly recommend — you won't regret it!

Ylenia and her collaborator were absolutely exceptional. The food was incredible, beautifully presented and full of flavour, but what really made the evening so special was the service. They created such a warm, relaxed atmosphere and made the whole experience feel effortless from start to finish.
They also went above and beyond to accommodate the little ones, which we really appreciated. We couldn't have asked for a better evening and will definitely be booking them again. Superb in every way. Highly recommended!

Dinner with Ylenia was a highlight of our trip! On the last night we decided to have Ylenia cook dinner at our home for our group of 15. She and her co-worker completely surpassed our expectations. The food was incredible and thoughtfully plated. They did all the dishes and left the kitchen way cleaner then when they arrived. Her tiramisu was by far the best desert we had all trip, along with the pastas. And the fennel salads was one of my other favorite dishes of the trip. Will absolutely hire her again when we come back to Sardinia.
